On Saturday 31st October 2009 Lympsham Cricket Club held its Annual Presentation Dinner at the Batch Country Hotel. Over 100 guests heard Chairman Andrew Hall congratulate the clubs 1^st XI for finishing champions of their division and gaining promotion, and all the clubs players for the spirit shown during a season that ended with a number of club records being broken. Club Sponsor Paul Godfrey from Lympsham Concrete presented the trophies, which included Player of the Year Simon Bailey, Young Player of the Year Tom Gooding, Senior Clubman of the Year Rich Drew and Young Clubman of the Year Liam Morris. Club Caps were presented to Rich Coles, Hayden Tuttiett and Phil Sheridan, and a great evening was rounded off with a casino run by the Nailsea Rotary Club, from which all the proceeds will be donated to charity.
